This is the lowest line Sony that has a backlighted keyboard. Also, there
are very few decently priced 15" that has the bklit keyboard. Dell 17" with
bklit kb's are all over the place at the same price, but those are too
large. Also the USB 3.0 is a plus for those using HD video dongles (like
the Blackmagic Shuttle).
I have an HP 17", and using a USB light attachment is a big Fail for me. I
need that bklit keyboard so I don't have to deal with the pigtail attachment
and crappy lighting pattern from the USB light.
