This is the lowest non-rebate price (excluding tax where applicable) that I
could find for one of the best PC based HD recording devices available.
I was planning on buying the PCIe version (Hauppauge Colossus) at Best Buy
and noticed that they had the PVR 1212 USB version for the same price.
Normally I wouldn't look at Best Buy but I received a gift card
The PVR 1212 will record via component for up to 720p/1080i recording. Great
option for DirecTV HD users who are filling up their DVRs.
(The previous best non-rebate pricing was $175 from Newegg back in March.
Dell has had it several times at $150 AR but typically this goes for $170-$
185.)
