MacMall. If you're looking for a lot of bang for the buck, this is a good
place to start.

Personal experience: I bought the AVR-1312 refurbished from MacMall last
month for $247. It comes with Denon's 1 year warranty. The unit looked
brand new. It came packed in 2 nested heavy, tight-fitting boxes (very well
packed) in two days. Everything looked like a new unit - remote, manual,
cables, antenna. Hookup was very easy. Includes an optical port for the TV
sound. Operation is extremely easy and performance is excellent. Much
better signal-to-noise ratios than many home theater receivers (check the
specs). Sound is clean.
Related note: I was turned off by comparably-priced Onkyo receivers which
appear to have a problem with the HDMI boards blowing (which is why you see
so many Onkyo refurbs). Google it for more details.
Happy hunting!
