Put DDWRT on it. To get 300 Mbps speeds I had to switch the wireless
encryption to WPA2 with aes, and make the channel width 40 instead of 20.
Must also use ch 1 (lower) 6 (upper or lower) or 11 (upper) for full speed
"Some report r16994 of 05/08/11 is most stable, so preferred." but did not
work at full speed for me and had a ton of issues so switched to newest
release and all was working well Link:
