I tried searching and didn't see anything and don't know if its ymmv. I've
attached my receipt here. It didn't show the model on receipt but item #,
same as Officedepot.com. See link below.
I was searching for a new camera at Office Depot today and saw this. Price
listed for $199 with a clearance sign on top of it so I asked them what the
price was. He checked the price and told me $149. I was thinking it was a
pretty good deal then browsed the area and saw a sign overhead stating all
clearance items are 30% off. I asked again if the price of $149 included the
extra 30% already. I just assumed it must have been already marked and
taken off making it $149. I bought it anyway just to try and see how I liked
it. When I went to the register to pay, the cashier told me it was $98.64+
tax!! Its like hitting the jackpot! LOL! Btw, not sure if color matters but
they gave me a silver one. Display had a black one.
I checked online and price is still $199. Other stores and sites are still
around the same price. My store didn't have much cameras to choose from and
this was the only one on clearance! I wonder if other stores have more
models on clearance.
