Possible price mistake. It was $1499. I tried to buy it and I was told that
they were all gone and to come back Monday. I asked for a rain check or put
it on layaway to ensure the price. The rain check came out with the price of
$1399 (they took $100 out of the $1499) the price tag was scanning $1399 as
well. I ask to speak with the supervisor and she explained that it was a
manager special and they could not guarantee the price because they were not
going to sell that model anymore. So I asked to buy the floor model, but
the manager said she would do it without the usually 10% off for floor
models.
I am sure that it was a price mistake, even at the cashier it rang $1399 but
they honored the $799. I am not sure if any other post exchanges have the
same mistake or manager special.
