LCD imaging is realized by making liquid crystal have different degree of transparency, and it has to add a backlight (fluorescent lamp or LED array). But e-ink's tech is realized by charging ink articles (so they call it e-ink). So, e-ink's display is realized by light reflection and they do not need backlight. This will significantly reduce power consumption, a key issue for hand-held devices.

现在做e-book reader的不少,kindle是冲在最前头的之一。

还有我不看好amazon的pump， kindle真是要多丑有多丑啊。
如果是apple来pump，e-ink估计还有点戏。

你上itunes商店看看，有卖audio book的，ebook不是很清楚
但是apple会不会出e-ink的ipod，这个估计是apple的机密
