Department of Architecture
after review ALL the posts in this board, I think I'm weird.
All the others come from CS or EE.
My projects include animation and realtime modeling.
I think I need a lot of help here to figure out the relationship between CS,
EE and Architecture Visualization program.
Whatsoever, I'm interested in this kinda stuff and would like to be apply for
PHD after my master study. So, hopefully, we can raise some topics and talk
about it.

I feel I am just a low level programmer sometime.
well, if you are not a
windows programmer, not a pure software programmer
not a pure algorithem programmer, not a pure driver programmer,
not a circuit designer, not a chip designer
however you have to know almost all of those stuff.
then you are a DSP firmware developer.

我在建筑系当然什么program都不作了,主要是建模型(不是数学建模)
然后渲染成动画或者Real-time的东西。
听上去很愧对visualization啊，可是没办法，建筑系就是酱紫了。
我觉得自己对真正的visualization还是感兴趣的，
比如替学EE的同学作过data visualization的课程作业
所以现在要好好算计一下要读PHD得投入多少，
时间上能不能来的及。
不行的话，就只有去作动画了。。。

发帖数: 300 | 6 这个方向很好吗。你可以申请做 Virtual Reality 的博士。
不需要做太多的编程。但需要你懂很多 Computer Vision
和 Graphic 的东西。

architecture dept however. some courses are listed
jointly with CS depts, for ms students, u can go
both way, tech or art. unfortuately, i'm a phd:(
for ur background and interst, i suggest you take
animator or modelor as your direction, of course
computer graphics need some people with real artistic
vision, and you don't really need to be a good programmer.
but you should take advantage of your original
background, i learnd it in a hard way.
