if he transfer from UFL to StonyBrook, then how the tenure clock count?
for example, if the two years in UFL, then still 5 years in Stonybrook?

the EECS here at least failed more than 3 faculty (because I personally knew 3 already) this year.

such as Okan, Karen, Lucas, the two MIT postDoc, Tao Ju etc... those guys took most of the interviews in top schools. I talked with Okan, he had more than 10 on-site, and even turned down some on-site invitation.

unless you offend some big guy in the department..

This years, animation direction is hot.
such as UPenn, USC, UCDavis etc. forcely want to recruit animation people.

his publication is good enough to go to every school..maybe directions

considering these factors, finding a position in a USA top 100 is quite acceptable. sigh..

Life need lucks. but at least I didn't step into it this year. too tough. ;(
