against longtime rival No 3/2 USC. The Trojans enter the contest with the
Irish following its 23-9 victory over No.17 California. USC is the third of
three Pac-10 Opponents for Notre Dame in 2006. The Irish have already
defetaed Stanford 31-10 back on October 7, and UCLA, 20-17, on October 21.
