on recruiting trail
Charlie Weis turned an eye toward the future in the hours that followed
Notre Dame’s 44-24 meltdown last Saturday night against nemesis USC in Los
Angeles.
And it wasn’t for show. It wasn’t to soothe or distract the holes poked in
the ascent of the Irish program toward elite-level status, though that
would be a welcome by-product. |
