the U.S. next month, as long as they sign up for it. This comes one year
after Microsoft became the console-exclusive Netflix partner, allowing Xbox
Live Gold members to instantly stream 17,000 movies and television shows.
Streaming Netflix through the PS3 will still require at least an $8.99-a-

借公司Netflix达成合作协议，使其PS3视频游戏机可以点播后者提供的电影。同时也是
Netflix用户的美国PS3用户无需支付额外费用，便可以通过PS3在线点播Netflix的电影
。
索尼此举是与微软竞争，使其产品成为家庭“数据中心”的最新举措，两家公司目前都
在利用各自的游戏机产品，提供游戏以外的内容服务。索尼电脑娱乐美国公司首席执行
官杰克－特里顿（Jack Tretton）表示：“尽管游戏是我们的核心业务，但是我们在三
年前推出PS3时就非常自信这款产品将不仅仅是一台游戏机。”
微软的Xbox游戏机现在已经可以点播Netflix提供的电影，不过，用户须每年支付50美元
的费用，才能成为Xbox Live黄金会员使用这项服务。
索尼称，Netflix服务将于11月在PS3上运行，最初，PS3用户将要利用一张蓝光光碟访问
Netflix的电影点播服务，最终可以通过PS3的软件升级，使用这项服务。

按钮，他们才会邮寄给你。
