NGAS今天有点量
NGAS Resources, Inc., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the
exploration and production of natural gas shale plays in the eastern United
States principally in the southern Appalachian Basin. The company also has
interests in the New Albany shale play within the Illinois Basin in western
Kentucky, as well as interests in a non-operated coalbed methane project in
the Arkoma Basin and non-operated projects in West Virginia and Virginia. In
addition, it owns rights to gold and silver properties covering 381 acres
on Unga Island in the Aleutian Chain, southwest of Anchorage, Alaska.
Further, the company owns and operates distribution systems for retail sales
of natural gas for two communities in southcentral Kentucky. Additionally,
it operates gas gathering facilities. NGAS Resources, Inc. sells its natural
gas primarily through gas marketing intermediaries to pipelines and
transmission companies. The company was founded in 1979 and is based in
Lexington, Kentucky.
