Gemini Horoscope for March 2012

What a glittering month! The configuration of planets that will form in the
heavens in early March will be so exceedingly rare and special that it will
be a very long time until we see anything even close to this harmonious. The
last time we had something faintly similar, it was June 2004, and before
that, it was March 1967 (more similar). Soon you will sense that there is
something magical in the air, and once these planets start sending you their
gifts, you will see the power of this extraordinary configuration. You can
expect three big areas of gain that will begin to flow to you now and in
months ahead: your home and family situation, your financial circumstances,
and your career. Friends and fun will form part of the picture too, but that
will come later in the month.
Your home and family situation, your career, and your finances will likely
start to make headlines in your life, most noticeably when the full moon
appears in Virgo at 18 degrees on March 8. What is so remarkable about this
full moon is that it will be accompanied by an entourage of four happy
little planets that will be intent on helping you achieve a goal that you
may not have been able to achieve on your own, no matter how hard you tried
in the past. The planets involved include Jupiter, Venus, Mars, and Pluto,
and they will work with this month's Sun and new moon.
News about a family member, or a situation involving your residence or other
property, is about to reach fruition or end point - and again, it all will
feel very gratifying to you when it does. Jupiter in Taurus, now in your
behind-the scenes sector, will conjoin Venus also in Taurus, so another
piece of the puzzle is that any talks that you scheduled and are strictly
confidential during early March will go extremely well. It is also likely
that in your career, at the very same time, influential VIPs have noticed
the superb quality of your work and are currently discussing how you may
factor into their plans. In the latter case, you won't know about any of
this buzz about your work just yet - that is yet to come out in time. Trust
that you have impressed all the right people.
Also in early March, Venus and Jupiter will signal Pluto, currently found in
your eighth house of other people's money. This house, which is so
beautifully oriented for you, rules such things as bank loans and lines of
credit, mortgages, refinancing plans, tax refunds, venture capital,
commissions, royalties, bonuses, licensing fees, inheritance, court
settlements, division of property in a divorce, bonuses, scholarships, child
support, and a host of other similar type funds. (Eighth house money tends
to come in one-time payments of cash and is not money earned but comes from
others to you.) Venus and Jupiter will send a perfect beam to Pluto on March
12-13, and you will feel this energy before this day, at the full moon,
March 8. Because all full moons have an area of influence of several days (4
or 5 on either side of the date of arrival), I would like you to take
advantage of things earlier, rather than later if anything comes up.
Venus and Jupiter will stay arm-in-arm during all of March, and together
they will send not only send a friendly signal to Pluto, in your money house
discussed above, but also one to Mars in your fourth house of home. This
means that a domestic plan that you've been hoping to hatch will either
crystallize now, or later, in April. I say that you may have to wait until
April to initiate or finish your home or property-related plans, because
Mars is still retrograde, a holdover from January 23. Mars will go direct on
April 13. If you need money to make your plan a reality, Pluto's role in
all this seems to say the money will appear for you, so investigate your
options.
Together, Mars, Pluto, and Jupiter with Venus will form a brilliant triangle
in the sky that will affect you not only now, but also in weeks and months
to come. Dream big, dear Gemini, for these kinds of aspects really can move
mountains. If you have worried that your home is what experts call "under
water" and you are not sure how you will hold on to your home, go to see
your banker immediately and plead your case. There is a chance that there is
a government program (indicated by Pluto) that is available to help you. If
you are paying a high interest rate, see a banker or broker to investigate
what is possible for you and whether it would make sense for you to take
advantage of one of your options.
It is possible you already acted on a home-related matter in February and
you may see that your action comes to a final stage near March 8. For
example, if you purchased furniture in January or February, it finally may
be delivered on the full moon March 8. Or, if you put in an application to
refinance your condo, you may have already closed last month, but will
receive the final paperwork from the bank at the full moon.
If you have a child or a relative you've been concerned about, you may now
get wildly positive news within five days of that full moon March 8. You
will see that your concerns can now be calmed, and that all is about to work
out well as the weeks unfold. Saturn may have been keeping you up at night
about your child or relative, but aspects are improving day by day, and this
month's triangulation of three planet's energy is truly superb and could
help you, due to Venus' involvement. I've rarely seen so many planets
supporting one another in such a staunch way, and all doing it at precisely
the same time, within such close mathematical degrees. This is extraordinary
, so your home, family, and financial news is likely to bring really
terrific news, and remarkably, it will all come at once.
Here is why I want you to wrap up plans before mid-month. Mercury will be
retrograde from March 12 to April 4, and because Mercury rules Gemini, you
will notice the frustrating effects of Mercury more than most. Mercury is a
planet that rules thinking and communication, and when retrograde, this
planet becomes a little dizzy. For the coming weeks, Mercury will act like
he has had one too many glasses of champagne and won't be able to walk
straight, let alone talk straight. Alas, we mortals below will have to do
the best we can without the benefit of Mercury's full-on power.
During the Mercury retrograde, you will have to work extra hard to keep
track of your personal items like eyeglasses, sunglasses, wallet, and cell
phone because we all get a little distracted and forgetful during these
periods. It is also never wise to make any major decisions when Mercury is
retrograde. I will give you one exception: If someone from your past gives
you a wonderful opportunity, you can accept it, because you have a history
with that person that started a long time ago.
Generally though, I would be wary about doing anything important during your
ruling planet's retrograde, March 12 to April 4. In almost all cases,
finish up things earlier, by the full moon March 8 or within four days of
that date, which will be so glorious for you.
March 12 is the start day of the retrograde, but it is also the date of one
of the most perfect and beneficial days of the year. That is when Jupiter
and Pluto will be beautifully oriented to each other. The outcome of this
day, or the days close by that approach it, is likely to produce a generous
sum of money for you. You may either receive a large check on this day, or
get news that you will be receiving the money in time. If you are currently
negotiating a deal, one that you will finalize just prior to March 12 (
hopefully by the full moon March 8), the profit from that deal will grow
enormously in the months and years to come. Jupiter trine Pluto is one of my
very favorite aspects, worth five stars!
In your career, there are also some exciting things popping. You may have
seen an uptick in activity last month, as of the new moon in Pisces,
February 21. More outstanding opportunity is still likely to come your way
now, as all new moons have an additional two weeks area of influence,
bringing you through the first week of March. Follow up on all the calls you
receive, dear Gemini, as February and March will be critical career months
for your future success and rising status.
It seems that you are on several VIPs' short list of ones to watch. Nothing
succeeds like success, and in time, the offers will begin to snowball. If
you didn't read my report last month, you may want to do so. Your name is
rising so fast that even your friends will notice what is going on with you.

The rhythm of the month will change dramatically after the new moon in Aries
, 2 degrees, March 22, switching your attention from career, money, and home
to more relaxed, social invitations and events that you will want to
participate in. This new moon won't be usual, boring, or ho-hum routine, but
rather full of pizzazz and will bring a bevy of unusual circumstances. In
all cases, friends will play a dominant role. Uranus, the planet of
unanticipated events, will be close to that new moon, and also to Mercury,
your ruling planet. You are likely to make the acquaintance of many new
people after this enterprising, adventurous new moon, and it appears you'll
be open to all that happens. If you think you know what is about to happen,
guess again! Surprise is what makes life fun, and as a Gemini, you know that
so well!
The areas that you may be thinking about include not only the new
acquaintances and friendships you will make, but also the group you may join
. This would be an ideal time to send your application to a social or
professional club, or to increase your presence in social media. There are
benefits to gain by reaching out to others, for they will add to your
experiences and knowledge. Humanitarian, political, and charitable efforts
are also included in the eleventh house, all so bright for you now, so you
may decide, for example, to pitch in to help a community event, or to work

There is another facet of the eleventh house, which the ancients referred to
as the house of hopes and wishes. You may now be in a position to reach for
a dream that has been dearly important to you, and that is so close to your
heart that only you know that that might be. (Not even your astrologer can
see what that means to you!) You will now have a chance to reach for that
dream, whether it is material ("I want a new computer") or spiritual ("I
want a baby"). Keep that dream alive, and after March 22, draw up a plan
toward making all that you see in your mind real.
Finally, before I go, I would like to draw special attention to the weekend
of March 24-25, when the Sun will conjoin Uranus, and this area will be lit
up brilliantly. A friend will surprise you in some way, making for a lively,
happy weekend. I can't see everything in your chart from where I sit, so
when I use the word unexpected, it is just that - things could go either way
. I am betting you will like what occurs, though, because the Sun and Uranus
will be in Aries, a sign that blends so well with yours.
If you have a birthday that falls in May, near May 22, 23, or 24, plus or
minus three days, you are likely to feel the effects of the March 22 new
moon, and the day I just pointed out, March 24. Also, if you know you have
natal planets at 2 or 3 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius,
or Aquarius, you will also be included - and be excited by what happens!
Summary
During the first week of March, you'll have exceptional career opportunities
, and each one will be more dazzling than the next. With Neptune now
gleaming on the top of your solar chart, you may be invited on TV, possibly
as a host of your own show, or you may be interviewed and hailed as an
important newsmaker. You've invested a lot of time in your career, and now
this month, near the important collaboration between Jupiter and Pluto on
March 12, you will see a big payoff in mounting money and status.
For a long time you've had little time to spend on improving your living
situation but at the full moon, March 8, all the conditions will be right to
settle some (but not all) home-and-family matters. Mars is currently
retrograde in your home sector, not a time to etch your plan in stone, and
besides, soon another planet, Mercury, will also go retrograde from March 12
to April 4.
Still, you may have set things in motion prior to this month, such as to
call in the contractors, and if so, you will be wrapping up your plan now,
at the full moon, March 8. If you have a child, you may find that one will
make you extremely happy - you seem to have been worried about one little
bird in your nest, so perhaps now you can give a sigh of relief.
If you have no idea what might come up, just keep your cell phone powered up
- this full moon is outstandingly positive, and the news is likely to have
you handing out ten dollar bills to complete strangers on the sidewalk, so
that they can celebrate with you. It's that kind of wild, happy luck that
you will be feeling, so get ready, dear Gemini!
You might also handle this emphasis on home this month by going back to do
undo or redo something you did before that is related to your residence. If
you hope to buy a house, you might now put in a second bid on one you dearly
wanted and lost because the seller rejected that bid. Or, if you are the
seller, you may change the price on your house to make it more attractive to
buyers.
Alternatively you may now schedule needed repairs, clean out closets, and
schedule the painters. If a major renovation is more your cup of tea, you
can now look for additional estimates from various contractors. Wait until
Mars goes direct on April 13 to launch your biggest, most expensive home-
related plans. If you can wait even longer, then plan to act in May or June
for best results. (Don't jump on April 13 or the days that follow. You need
get past the opposition of Saturn and the Sun on April 15, no one's favorite
day.)
If you need funding to make your home-related plans a reality, apply for a
mortgage, refinancing plan, or home improvement loan at the bank early in
the month. By the time you get to March 12-13, you should have good news
that you are approved for a very large sum with good terms. It is also
possible you will see other money come in, say, from an inheritance or a
bonus, and you'll have all you need.
After the new moon March 22, your social calendar will fill up fast and you'
ll want to reconnect with friends, some of whom you've not seen in ages -
this is a bonus of Mercury in retrograde, March 12 to April 4. Parties,
lunches, charity benefits, museum openings, even a quick trip could be on
your agenda. The end of March will be just made for relaxing.
If you want to join a club that requires an introduction, ask a friend to
write a reference for you within the few days that follow the new moon March
22. You may also want to become active in social media at that time -
investigate how you can use your favorite networks to stay in touch. If you

could click beautifully - this is your best day of the year for that kind of
