price of the after-market cartridges for these printers, usually $1-$2 each.
892 is designed for small office use, so it has fax, and a very important
feature: the ADF. if you have a lot of document to scan, you definitely
should get MG892 or MG882 or MX870 or MX860
MG6220 is slighlty better in term of photo printing, but 99% people won't
notice the difference. so if you don't need ADF, just get the 6220 |

use an extra gray ink that is slightly harder to get (but still very cheap
for 3rd party cartridges). The gray ink is supposed to improve photo
quality, but 99% people can't tell the difference. basically I am saying
MG892 beats MG6220 except photo printing, but both print stunning photo
anyway.
Most Canon printers that use 5 or 6 individual cartridges can do duplex
printing. MG892 certainly can do. I believe MG6220 can do duplex also but I
haven't open my MG6220 yet, so can't confirm. |
