Friday, November 6, 2015 The item was shipped to customer as 'Brand New'. I
purchased the item from Frys store, and was never used. The buyer claims he
received the item as defective (please check he's previous message),
however he didn't contact me regarding the issue util now, that is over 90
days since item as delivered (please check shipping history). I don't know
if the item was really DOA or its failure due to improper usage or it is
just buyer's excuse, given this large 90 days window. When the buyer
purchased the item, he is well aware the item was sold by a 3rd-party seller
, and he was not the original purchaser of the item. I also checked the
manufacture's website (MSI) for warranty T&C: http://us.msi.com/page/warranty. under section 'Hardware parts' and 'motherboard', it does not require the claim needs to be filed by original purchaser (when i shipped the item, i also included original store receipt). As long as the serial number (can be found on the item) matches, it should go through without issue.
