of the leanest meats in the world. Yes, legs have more fat, but definitely
not as fatty as beef/lamb/salmon...

for many years! Yes, there is oil in the roasting pan. But are you going to
drink that oil? All numbers are for "roasted turkey" -- cooked and drained
meat. Honestly that oil is not THAT much, given the big size of the bird.
Have you seen the oil under roasted duck/hen? There is a lot of oil in the
pan too, and they are so much smaller than a turkey.
Turkey is hands-down one of the leanest sources of protein in the world. And
this fact is widely accepted in nutrition science and fitness world.
Don't tell me you don't even have a proper roasting pan for turkey -- the
one with a rack to drain the oil.
