Since he's only a 9 weeks old kitten,
he's soooo energetic and refuse to let us go a day without new "injuries" (
ie. bad bleeding scratches)!! He
didn't do it on purpose...and he's still learning. BUT... what can I do?? I
hate the idea of declawing a cat, I see
that as animal cruelty. SO, I found an alternative...Kitty Caps (or, aka -
SoftPaws/SoftClaws).

发帖数: 235 | 3 I actually cut the length of the cap even shorter so it only sticks to the
protruding part of the nails. This way, his nails can be retracted. However
, this brand is still a bit "thick". I think SoftClaws will be thinner. So
if any of you want to try it, try SoftClaws instead of Kitty Caps. |

发帖数: 235 | 6 I wouldn't mind so much if the scratches are limited to the arms, hands and
legs. However, when we fall asleep...Java will coming snuggling up upon our
neck, climb up our heads and leave bleeding scratches on our faces.
It's really nice to have you cat wanted to sleep with you...but not so nice
when they leave painful red marks on your face. =/

mind at all. The trick is to clip the nails caps till it only covers the
protruding part of the nails so the cat can still retract them.

我家的剪指甲都是几个月想起来才剪一次，我已经一年没被抓过了。
这版很多成年猫都懂事，只拿肉垫子跟人玩~

I really hope he'll learn "claws hurt" when he ges older. This morning Java
left a long scratch mark on my neck with
his back paws (I only put kitty caps on his front paw to 'test the water')

其实猫猫现在小 稍微大一点就会收放自如了 你可以现在开始训练他 如果玩闹的时候
抓到了你 你可以大声叫下（表示你被弄痛了并且不满）然后拍拍他的头 然后停止和
他玩
我家是个闺女 非常聪明懂事 和我打闹的时候爪子从来都是收起来的^^ 但我家闺女已
经3个多月了 |

我家Stella小时候一直抓我，我右腿上都是伤，直到LeLa来了以后才不抓我咬我。。转
移目标了
但是现在两个猫在床上扭打，跳来跳去还是会误伤我，55555
都不能穿短裤了
我们的皮肤对他们来说，实在太脆太嫩了。

furniture...but it's just too cruel. My boss is thinking about declaw and I
just told him I using Kitty Caps/Soft Paws as an alternative...so far so
good. I think I talked him out of it...lol

Hopefully we'll find one soon and the new kitten will keep him distracted!!
Oh, I dare not wear shorts or short-sleeves clothing when I'm near him. At
least not till I put Kitty Caps on his back claws =/
