Hi, I adopted the terrier mix dog from a small pet store couple of weeks
ago. They didn't tell me she was pregnant. On the night of Feb, 14th she
delivered six puppies in my closet! I live in a small apartment , it's
very hard for me to keep all of them although I want to.
I will keep the brown one for the mom and find good homes for other 5
ones. They will be ready for adoption after 8 weeks' nursing. It's been
one week since they were born. This Friday I will take them to the vet for
health check.
I won't charge any money if they go to good homes. But I do want to visit
them at least once to see if they do well in your home, cause I love them
so much.
Please give me a call if you are interested. |

不知道让领养的人早点过来看Puppy,交一些押金(20-30? 你定了) ,是不是比口头答应
了什么都不押的好,这样只有真心要的才会过来看,不然有些人邮件说的很好,真要来领
的时候反悔,到时候又要花时间找新的家庭. |

I took my puppies home, I could not give my puppies to the people who do not

specific with the kind of ideal homes you are looking for, such as: family
with yard, with active lifestyle, pet friendly kids etc. and you will do
home visit first etc.

在你手里。puppy交出去之后你就loose control了。未必找得到他们人。即使他之前答
应过你，即使他之前给你的地址是真的，他也可以拒绝，你一点辙没有。

before the adoption, not after if there must be one.
Home visit after the adoption might turn away the potential owners. You can
request some photo update after the adoption instead. |

if the person refuses home visit, you don't give out the puppies
if the person agrees, you can have a chat over the phone first...
you should also request a reference and chat with the reference too.
you don't have to do the home visit even if you request so.
good applicants shall be well spoken, have a stable job, can give good
reasons why they want a puppy, have solid reference etc... they should be
home owners, not renters who moves every 3 months... you can figure all this
out over the phone.
ask for address and you can drive around the neighbourhood or look it up on
google.
DON'T JUST GO TO SOME STRANGER'S HOUSE WITHOUT INVESTIGATION FIRST....
DON'T invite strangers to your house without screening them either...
