标 题: 都看过来！---住的偏远的，家里有小孩子的得要小心了。

WFD的朋友发过来的。
The yard pictured here is usually occupied by three young girls, ages 4, 7
and 10. While most of us would feel very safe in our own backyards, these
girls were lucky they didn’t go outside to play the morning of May 2nd --
they avoided a very dangerous encounter.
This home, located on the 3200 block of West Third Way in the heart of
Kennewick, is the unlikely location where Fish and Wildlife Sergeant Mike
Jewell and Kennewick PD Officers found a 120-pound cougar perched in the
tree above. Surrounded by homes, with schools nearby and a daycare facility
down the street, there was no place for this animal to go without
encountering people. There are numerous factors that can, and often do, go
awry when trying to relocate such a potentially dangerous and unpredictable
wild animal. The risk of having a cougar on the loose in such a highly
populated area was just too high to take any chances. With no other
reasonable option available, the young male cougar was lethally removed to
protect the citizens of this community.
Although rare, cougars do occasionally wander into urban areas.
Unfortunately, if they decide to stay, the safety of the public outweighs
the opportunity to give them a second chance. On a positive note,
arrangements are currently underway to donate this animal’s remains to
Washington State University for biological research at the Tri-Cities campus

我抓到过一只蓝色的公孔雀. 鹿总是跳过围栏, 把我们种的东西吃光.
挨着林子住就要多加小心. 只是没想到这家伙"进城"了. | o*****e
