见到松鼠也只是原地看一会儿，然后叹口气自己走开了。
这件事最奇怪的地方是Jacob从小到大都没有带过prong，哪知道一给他带上，他就是这
样的表现。
我还准备训练他知道prong的厉害之处。
哪知他似乎天生知道prong的厉害。一带上马上就是这样了，一次都没有拉。百思不解。
现在在训 no jumping，叫我同事天天配合训10分钟，
结果带着prong的时候完全不跳，
但是不带的时候还是跳。可能需要时间吧。 |

我买的这套装备做工真的是没得说，太好了。
我自己试了一下不会伤到的。
关键是带法要正确，很多时候是带的太松，猛一拉就会伤到自己。
带正确了狗直接就知道不能pull了。

对我来说不是quick fix的问题，而是要降低坏事情的概率。
带上prong collar带狗出门，我自己放心一些。特别是危机情况下，狗性发作要追马路
对面的猫之类的时候，可能救我的命，也就了狗的命。
当然可以责备我为啥不把狗训练到足够淡定不追猫。。。这个，哪怕有万一可能出事的
几率，我也希望有个工具可以帮忙再减小这样的概率。 |

带着PRONG，不代表可以就让他随便怎么样了。
正确用法是PRONG得99.5%时间是松的，狗主人得密切注意周围动向，一旦狗有倾向PULL
，轻轻的抖动LEASH，传到狗脖子上是一个震动，是一个CORRECTION，绝对不应该是一
直拉紧的。慢慢的他就学会不PULL了。
谁的皮都受不了一直拉紧的状况的。

我不想狗被最后折磨的不去追猫。
我希望是让追的时候追，不让的时候给我淡定。 prong collar首先是要其先习惯淡定
下来。

啊，不会把。 我怎么觉得你的做法似乎不对呢？

如果太松的话，更本不能停在脖子上很高的位置。
我做过试验，松的时候效果很差，而且可以伤到狗，因为他还是会冲，一冲就伤到了。
但是按照http://leerburg.com/fit-prong.htm 上面说的，fit到高位不掉下来的状态的时候，Jacob无比的听话，
吃饭，喝水，甚至大叫都没有问题，也没有见他不适的表情。
当然我自己也不是专家，希望继续讨论。

give a correction. She didn't mean "too loose".
If it's too loose, you can't give a correction by pulling the leash a
little bit.

I used prong collar to teach Addy not to suddenly jump. She learned it and
never do it again with regular collar on.

situation was special.
When She just came home, she didn't listen to me. When we had a walk and
she saw
something interesting, she wanted to go and would fight with me for that.
For example, when the leash was tight and she was not powerful enough to
run away, she would run to me first to make the leash loose and when I didn
't pay attention to her, she suddenly ran away fast to pull. (How evil it
is!!!) It was so dangerous. Once the leash was even pulled to two pieces
and she ran in front of a car, which scared me to death.
After I put a prong collar on, when she tried her trick again, she felt
the pain. Only two times, she learned not to do it and has never done it
again.
I also tried to use the prong collar to correct her slowly pulling but it
didn't work at all. She was tough and didn't mind that amount of pain,
instead, she got angry.
That's why I don't recommend using prong for pulling consistently. But for
sudden jump, I feel it's pretty useful. Well, it still depends on the dog I
think.

Jacob倒是没有ID的这种发力方法，因为Jacob本身的leash就很短，我还会饶一大圈在
手上，基本上 就是heel的距离。
我说的想冲出去就是硬pull。但有prong的时候，他就不pull.

发帖数: 26631 | 35 Addy was very "evil". When I didn't want her to jump, I did keep the leash
short. But I don't like to keep that way during the whole walk. So she
would stop pulling, wait until I loose the leash, then she started to run
and pull.
Prong didn't correct consistent pulling for Addy. Although she didn't pull
as hard as when she had the regular
collar, she still pulled. And in that case, she could develop more
endurance for that pain and pulled harder in the future and would get
physically hurt. So I stopped using it.
Jacob is smart if he doesn't pull at all with the prong on. I guess
obedience training is the only way for you. He needs to learn that you are
the master and you don't want him to do that.

the master and you don't want him to do that.
这就是很puzzle的问题。
我认为Jacob是认我为master的，我一”严肃“他的坏习惯就会立马消失。
我觉得他就是太smart，他知道我啥时候没有严肃，知道可以自己做主玩，会钻小空子。
但是我不能一天到晚严肃呀。 我知道他pull其实就是想去闻那块地。
但是仆人就不好，虽然基本上就是求玩。 |

。是否用PRONG，用多频繁，得看具体的狗的习性和主人的想法、目标。

I never let Addy jump and push me because I could easily fall... but I didn
't mind her standing and kiss me, so she learned to "jump" on people but
still putting weight on her own back legs, gently put her front legs on
people.
It's really hard to stop jumping because some of my neighbors don't care and
every time they encourage Addy to jump on them...
