5400rpm hdd and it is fine unless capacity is kind of limited for windows xp
.
i wanted to upgrade this hdd to a 32gb pata sdd which is about 40 bucks.
performance gain worth the money and extra work? thanks for your help |

1) i got a t410s as main work laptop
2) it's a 12" dell 700m laptop and i use it as a netbook.
3) it got pentium 1.6(1.8?)ghz cpu which is faster than atom 1.6ghz
4) it has a cdrw/dvd while most netbooks don't have. (original one worns out
, now it has a new one)
so if i still want to use this laptop, is it worth to replace the old hdd
with a refurbished pata sdd?

since u have listed so many reasons, the nessicity of buying a SSD just all
depends on u, if u think the capacity and price is acceptable.
It shall enhance the performance of ur old laptop, but won't much.

性能对比不好说，没比较过。5400转应该够了。我自己用x41t加ssd当上网本，还是蛮
爽的。
