An Act Relative to Unsolicited Electronic Mail.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 166 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after
section 42B the following section:
Section 42C. Except as otherwise provided herein, a person shall not
send or cause to be sent unsolicited electronic mail to solicit the
purchase of real property, goods or services.

called SPAMMING. If you ever read any terms and conditions
of commercial ISPs etc., you certainly would know that.
This applies to Bulletin Boards as well. As for people
sending thousands of articles, it is still up to
the sysop and the existing rules of the place he's doing
that. Jiahe sent 200 articles to Girl board, both
breaking the rule of this BBS and against the warning of the adms,
that is considered as SPAMMING.

the FBI. They probably won't even establish a case (not serious
enough). So I don't want to dig into the legal aspect of this.
However, if jiahe kept doing that, this can certainly
be brought up to the computer adms of his university.
One very likely result is that his computer privileges
being (partly or fully) revoked, and it could result in his
being expelled from school as well.
