An Overview (简介): The Associate of Education (DUNS: 144001125) (https:/
/www.bpn.gov/CCRSearch/detail.aspx), a non-profit agency registered with
Central Contractor Registration (CCR) since 2004 in the United States,
welcomes your support of, contribution to, and participation in the areas of
• educational support services (NAICS Code*: 611710),
• translation and interpretation services (NAICS Code: 541930), and
• research and development in social sciences and humanities (
NAICS Code: 541720).
An Agenda of Initiatives (创业经营的主要议题): The initiatives supported by
the Associate of Education include, but are not limited to the following:
• I-1: individualized support (tutoring) for technical writings
including resume/vitae, the letter of interest, application essay, research
projects, term papers, research reports, and prospectus for thesis and
dissertation;
• I-2: critical analysis and synthesis of the research literature
on instructional effectiveness and institutional research (IR) using
quantitative and qualitative methods;
• I-3: development of grant proposals and innovative projects in
the theories, research and practices of adult learning drawing on the
perspective of community college education (Cohen, Brawer & Lombardi, 2008),
language assessment (Bachman & Purpura, 2010) and whole language pedagogy
for ESL/EFL (Y. Freeman & D. Freeman, 1998);
• I-4: editing and publishing of professional writings such as
conference proceedings, college textbooks, etc.;
• I-5: co-sponsorship of educational conferences and cultural
exchange programs;
• I-6: consultations on English-Chinese and Chinese-English written
translation and oral interpretation; and
• I-7: establishment of trust funds to promote the scholarship of
teaching and learning (SOTL) anchored on the Boyer’s (1990) model.
