sample rd, hubbard rd, ducan ave)，但是挂掉了。考官给的理由是 1.stop sign停
车时车身没有跟牌子垂直 2.stop sign起步时太慢，导致远方同向开来的车要减速避让
。我又约了30号allison park的路考，版上提到过allison park有三条线路，我担心到
时候考官会带我换条线，请问另外两条线具体是怎么走法？多谢啦！ |

嗯，多谢鼓励哈！penn hill我已经fail两次了，有些人说penn hill好考，有些说
allison park好考，我觉得关键还是自己开哪边顺手就好。penn hill的考官不过确实
挺严厉的，那边的路也不太好开，尤其是那个平趴，要拐s形才能紧靠cone停下，s拐的
不好，就容易离开cone很远。allison就好多了，可以直线开到cone旁边停下，和平趴
位置平行。 |

教：
1. 在parking lot里面，似乎没有penn hill那种指示方向的箭头。唯一的箭头只有指
示平趴场地的那些黄色箭头。那么刚开始考试时，从停车位出来应该如何开到平趴场地
呢？
2. 我记了一下一共有3个stop sign（如图），1是从停车场出来的。是不是1和3都要
double stop，2可以不用，因为2视野较好？
3. 从停车场出来的1号stop sign我感觉很难掌握时机，因为右边过来的车会经过一个
上坡，车出现的时候往往已经很近了，不知道考过的TX有什么心得？
4. 在sample Rd上，因为限速35，但Hubbard Rd的右转很隐蔽，那么需不需要加到35呢
？因为我试过几次，发现加到35以后，再减下来就容易错过右转，而且我的车加速慢，
好几次加到35以后花了好长时间，已经来不及减速了。
5. 听说Allison Park的考官换人了，最近已经没有那几个nice的考官了，是不是真的
啊？

胖子考官考的。但是Allison Park DMV的电脑坏了，所以不能issue临时驾照。我还得
下周再去一次，很麻烦，还不能开车，那地方坐bus又远得要命。
PS那地方是不是考试时间路上不能练车？我考完以后带几个中国人实地转了一圈，被考
官看到，他看了我一眼。 |

路线是出门左拐，一路左拐回来（Ringeisen-Sample-Peebles-Duncan）。
没过，原因三条
1.超速，Duncan上有小下坡，有那么几秒速度在37左右。。。
2.转弯速度过快，Duncan左转回停车场的时候速度过快
3.我最不能理解的一条，说平趴的时候不能用手刹。Allison park平趴的地方是有坡度
的，我往里倒的途中，停车拉手刹调整方向，考官说，你不能用emergency brake。。
我汗。。手动档的车不拉手刹太容易溜车了吧。。我只好把手刹松了接着到，往前滑了
一下但也还是一次倒入位了。入位之后摘挡拉手刹，考官又说，你不能用emergency
brake。我很困惑，问他为啥，他说你想象你在busy downtown，你没有时间用
emergency brake。非常无语。。

PARK。据OFFICE 说，所有APPLIANCES 和地毯都是刚换的。
公寓小区环境优美，非常安静。每栋楼平均只有12户，每栋楼前都有大的停车场，停车
间距也很宽。
开车五六分钟就有各种各样的SHOPPING MALLS，各种餐馆，佳惠超市。
学区是North Allegheny School District，小学，中学和高中都是10分，MIDDLE
SCHOOL IS BLUE RIBBON SCHOOL，而且离学校很近。离NORTHLAND PUBLIC LIBRARY 也
很近。

Adam已经无需给我们更多惊喜，实力上来说，他就是no 1, far beyond the others. 听他唱歌只需要享受即可。opera果然不是白唱的，那种稳定的发挥，对于歌曲准确地把握，丰富的表现力是其他人无法比拟的。
danny很大程度上也如此，得益于church的经历，他表现力不足，但非常稳定，就像几个judge说的，comfortable vocal,每一个发声。今天他唱得一般,没有Kris唱得好。 |

allison park的考经，惊为天人。努了研读了一番，加上实地演练了几次，终於一举成
功。因此，在下建议您下次可以报allison park的路考。和penn hill与bridgeville相
比，allison park简单太多了。
首先，allison park的路考均为单线道，所以路况非常单纯。其次，我在allison park
遇到的考官文明多了，不像前几次的考官那麽怪里怪气。我在penn hill也遇过您所提
到的胖子考官，他真的是非常讨厌；您在进停车场时开了太快，我则是很警觉地保持
10mile，但他竟批评我开太慢，会害了後面要转进来的车子。我回嘴：I failed last
time for driving too fast here; 他竟立刻反呛: No wonder you failed!
相较之下，allison park的考官简直是天使下凡，还会提醒stop sign和速限，心肠好

我最近忽悠了几个local runner来做高精度骨结构扫描，看到一些有意思的结果。样本
很小，就4个（还加上我自己）。3个的trabecular bone (松质骨)结构和正常人有差异
，主要体现在有变粗变大的骨小梁，并且成片连接在一起。初步估计，在开始过长时间
，过大负荷的给予骨头Loading,unloading，造成了非常小的microfracture,
microdamage，恢复后就形成了microcallus(骨痂）。唯一一个跑完骨头一点事没有的

下面按顺序是：1.vivil：我的只显示有很小的一点异常，在接近左下cortical bone（

陈列平：在现在的宣传里，James Allison对肿瘤免疫的贡献有两个：一是他发明了
CTLA-4抗体来治疗肿瘤，后来的临床实验证明对病人有效；二是他提出CTLA-4是第一个
免疫检查点（immune checkpoint），而其他有免疫抑制作用的分子包括PD-1/PD-L1，
都属于免疫检查点分子，都是在他之后发现的。
那么事实是什么样的？CTLA-4的基因早在1987年就已被法国Pierre Golstein实验室克
隆（1）。1991年，Peter Linsley首先鉴定了CTLA-4的配体是CD80（2）。1994年，
Jeffrey Bluestone用抗体阻断CTLA-4和配体的结合，发现免疫反应有显著增强，首次
提出CTLA-4有免疫抑制功能（3）。1995年, 加拿大Tak Mak和美国Arlene Sharpe的实
验室报道CTLA-4基因敲除小鼠会自发出现严重的自身免疫性疾病并迅速死亡（4，5）。

，他的去年１０月的in service exam居然98%percentile,就是全国所有的２年住院
中top2%，他还说没考好,１年级的时候99%。一直以为自己去年的66%已经
很好了，因为小米给我成绩的时候，还表扬了一下，问问其他同一届的也似乎没有高于
这个，所以轻飘飘了。attending当时问TIMI score是什么，我根本没有听说过。
医学知识要学习和加深了解的太多了。觉得在复习usmle的时候，应该复习得更全面更
好些。医学知识是一个积累的过程，一定要多花时间看书，不光光是为了应试，仅仅抓
题库。医学知识的积累和投入的时间成正比。我们医院的另外一个attending在
teaching round的时候以搞笑的形式讲了一个他在做住院的时候同窗的故事，说那个住

你是去那里的路考？我建议你还是去allison park比较容易。我penn hill废两次，
allison park一次过，而且那次考官心情特不好，之前刚被一个中国人冲撞……
如果不在乎钱的话，还是建议你找驾校，我觉得驾校出来和朋友教确实不一样，尤其是趴车。我也是在这边上驾校的，我当时还不知道allison park这个地方的时候，emory就带我去了，可能他都知道这地方最好考，虽然比penn hill远了一半。 |

从开始6mile/h很吃力，到现在轻轻松松7.5mile/h。好几次想戒掉，但是一直没成功，

虽然我一直觉得Danny还不错，也一直很稳定，不过---这怎么可能？
BTW, he was too harsh to Allison tonight. Allison did great today.
我越来越喜欢Allison了，又可爱，唱得也越来越好。
Danny在让人失望的两个礼拜之后，今天是非常让人耳目一新的，simon的评价算是很中肯的。
再继续前两个礼拜的情况，我都要担心他进不了top 3了。
不过无论如何，Adam,才是那个无需更多掌声和赞誉去证明的人。 |

Peter Allison是个澳大利亚人，19岁去了博茨瓦纳，成了非洲野外探险游的导游
，这工作一干就是13年，其中发生了无数令人捧腹大笑的小故事。Peter Allison将它
们总结起来，于是便有了这本《无论如何你别跑》，其风格让人在第一时间便想起来三
毛的散文：朴素而真挚，轻松惬意中也有几许动人瞬间。
之所以读了这本书，也纯属机缘巧合。某天我等人，随便从书架子抽出本书来打发
时间，看到封皮上抱着顶导游帽子满脸无辜的狮子便忍不住想笑，读了两页更是在书店
里笑出声来，左右四顾满脸抱歉，赶紧找个没人的角落一边儿偷着乐去了。
我很喜欢Peter Allison自我调侃的劲儿。能在非洲当探险导游，甚至还敢慢慢爬
到狮子眼前几尺的地方给人家照相，这眼脑手脚协调能力想必非同一般；不过他在开始
几章就一直不停的讲他小时候是个多么笨拙又缓慢的城市小孩，不是常常摔得人仰马翻
就是磕磕碰碰鼻青脸肿，这既让我这样可怜的城市动物觉得亲切，又先广揽一大把同情
分，后面的经历才又刺激又神奇。
给我印象最深的有两个小故事。一个是Peter讲如何在非洲营地上厕所的趣事，另
