发帖数: 19 | 2 It's safe to delete all the stuff under windows/temp except
for WinME.
There is something about PCHealth in the same directory in
WinME which guides winME to properly shutdown (I guess).
But there is no problem for 98 and 2k so far as I find. Even
for winME, if you delete everything from windows/temp, just
remember to do a restart to restore the PCHealth info so
that you can shutdown properly. |

1. 跟目录有关的问题
我发现一个问题，用ls 看不到的目录其实是存在的，
比如我的用户名是cookiesweet, 有几个同事分别是peter, nancy, john(只是瞎举个例
子)
我登陆一个linux machine后，我能看到我的home directory 是 /homes/cookiesweet
我这时在/homes下，用ls 只能看到我的home directory.根本看不到 peter, nancy,
john的home directory.
可事实上他们的home directory都和我的一样在那里。
因为如果我 cd /homes/peter,能进到peter的home directory,这时在/homes下ls, 就
能看到peter的home directory了， 是作为一个link存在的。
我的问题是为什么刚开始我用ls 看不到别人的home directory?,非 |

1. 新做的网站，很少有人和你trade link, 所以，不得不考虑用 web directory, 大部
分是免费的，也有一些是收费的，比如著名的DMOZ就是免费的，而YAHOO的就是收费，而
且很贵。 通过向directory提交URL，就好像把你的名字提交给Phone book一样，方便人
家找到你；如果能被比较好的DIRECTORY收录的话，就会多一个outbound link, 搜索引
擎可以由该DIRECTORY来crawl你的网站，提高收录的效率，而且最重要的一点是能提高

如果我直接用google SOAP api的话，返回的结果大多没有这个ODP信息。比如我查询
“bag", top 10返回结果都没有这个信息。如果我直接在directory.google.com里面搜
索，有245，000个网页返回。
但是我在query 里面加入 “site:directory.google.com", query ＝ "bag site:
site:directory.google.com" 返回的结果却狠奇怪。只有58个结果返回。而且都不对。
