have 8 GB of quality DDR2 memory and don't want to shell out another $200
for DDR3 memory hence I decided to incrementally upgrade one of my old
systems with a P4 630 to this.

jumped out at me being a Sandy Bridge i3 2100 with a msi h61m-e33
motherboard combo for $160. If you're not interested in overclocking, and
just looking for a decent dual core/mobo combo, this looks good as you're

if your mobo has dvi/vga/hdmi, use that + independent video card. However,
some H6X mobo will disable integrated video card if you plug one in.
otherwise, if your mobo has 2 pcie x16 (one of them is not full x16, but
that's ok), use one good card + one crappy card.
otherwise, if your mobo has 1 pcie x16 and pci slot, use one good card + one

发帖数: 402 | 27 2年多旧台式机，最近老是randomly shut down.找人诊断了一下，因为CPU并不热（有
时候甚至是冷的），所以怀疑是motherboard的温度指示坏掉了。P.S.重装操作系统也
没有解决问题。
找不到一样型号的mobo,只能买了一个兼容现在的CPU的mobo.(LGA 775 socket).昨晚照
着mobo的使用说明把新的mobo装上去，但是按开启没有任何反应。我怀疑 F-panel上面
的东西可能有些没插上去，（我只插上了一个两个pin的power switch）,但是实在电脑
里也没有其他插口了阿。
这是怎么回事，组机的大牛们，有什么建议么？包子答谢。 |

click on the 4th photo, magnify, you can only see one PCIex16 and one PCI (
and no M.2). the mobo looks like a micro-ATX. I was also confused seeing 2x
pciex16 in the specs, but I could not find any info regarding the mobo.
for a atx casing and 1000w psu, a micro-atx mobo is a waste. perhaps the
model shown in the photo is not the one being sold? still, make sure you
know what mobo you are buying. that is the most important piece if you
consider upgrading in the future. |

rebate的（20-20），原价80。
结果我去了，他们cpu没货，就20块钱卖了我这个mobo(rebate有效），然后我再newegg
上买了一个便宜的cpu
结果装台机器，花了200不到，配置还不错。 |

我刚才又找了新一点的一台机子，测试这个电源，结果居然可以，我ft
这次我同样只接mobo，cpu，harddrive，disk drive
至于下午用来测试的机子失败，可能是下午测试的第一个机子太老了，只有２０pin，
（我原以为２０＋４pin兼容２０pin）
总结自己的test，和大家的意见，
１，应该风扇确实有问题，风扇是机箱带的，自带有小接口转直接接电源的接口，不知
道是不是转接的线有问题
２，由于新电源总是不能让我自己的机子工作，现在又能证明新电源还至少没有烧掉，
那么问题可能应该存在于机箱电路，或者主板上
３，可是，mobo和chassis也不是不work，至少是conditionally work （旧电源下），
这一点非常疑惑
４，mobo，chassis，psu，ram都是newegg买的，现在四个里有三个怀疑有问题了，。
。。。

saving -$30，还是很划算的。
显卡这个价格估计够呛，MC就是CPU + MOBO最划算。其他的东西一家上税也就没那么吸
引人了。推荐其他配件网购
2.当然可以，但是你如果还有其他的东西要装，估计会偏小。OS 20G， Skyrim大大小
小的也要10-15G吧，再加上其他的软件，一开始轻轻松松吃掉60G不是问题。如果你还
想装点其他游戏或者文档多那就有点紧了。但是如果控制的好，还是没有大问题的。
3.你看你的Skyrim想要什么效果了。一般来说如果是偏入门，其实7770-7850/650 ti
boost这一档 1GB的显卡就可以应付1080p普通材质的要求了，大概也就$80-$130的样子
。但是玩skyrim的好多都是玩mod的，就是加各种特效材质的包，这样就极大增加GPU的
负荷了，一般就要往7850/7950/760 2GB看了，甚至有人会去堆到3GB显存，因为据说有
些texture package会用到2.2GB的显存。

CPU:
如P3 - Tualatin Celeron: Intel 815芯片组, 512MB转不动数据库服务器,
其它VIA/SIS/Ali芯片组倒能支持多一点内存, 但非Intel的芯片组不稳定.
如P4 - Northwood: 845芯片组支持2GB内存

以前是dual Athlon MP，必须用dual socket的mobo，2GB内存必须用
registered的，现在直接升级到Phenom X4，8GB普通内存，普通的AM2+
mobo，花的钱远不到当初的一半
以前装机想着怎么把几十块的CPU超到几百块的速度，现在几十块的CPU
不用超也绰绰有余了
应该说这是好事，估计再过十年左右我们就不需要这个版了，电脑就真
的变成一台普通的家电了 |

发帖数: 2841 | 42 看什么主板了，小牌子的机器有时候用通用的板子，不过bios改改，换成自己logo屏蔽
一些功能，这样的板子可以刷回公板BIOS，有的就可以找回OC选项了
但DELL HP之类的大牌子，用的板子一个可能是用的intel出的mobo，而intel的mobo从
来就是不带
oc选项的，或者是用microstar等大厂给他们定做的板子，BIOS里选项也比较少，一定
要冒险的话可以试试相近型号的的公板 |

前者主板chipset 865g老一代，只有AGP和DDR，却又SATA
后者chipset是915GV或者sis661FX的，虽然新一代但因为是缩水版接口少了很多，鸡肋
了。

你确认一下你的主板是什么Chipset——如果是下面这种，那就是sis 661FX了，性能上
又比intel的差很多，而且明明有sata针脚也不把接口焊上去，唉
我的建议是512MBx4 DDR+ socket 478 p4 + mobo + IDE硬盘+AGP显卡+机箱电源最好整
套卖掉，pentium 4 630是好东西，可以考虑配主板或者单独ebay
另一个机箱电源，1GBx1 ddr2和sata硬盘都可以留着，用卖旧配件收来的钱弄套便宜的
intel双核cpu+mobo，显卡根据需要可买可不买。 |

do it. the margin of electronic products are already quite small. besides,
you need an external antenna stick out of your case, which is a separate
stuff in your mobo box. it has much higher impact on the cost than you think
. business customers won't need that anyway.
