Several problems with XML; IT industry on acid trip.
XML has several problems. It is slow to parse, it can result in big files,
it only describes what the data are and not how to handle them etc. But it
is a step in the right direction: we need to have a way to make programs
interact based on a common protocol. In other words, we have a problem (
interaction of programs), the correct approach (a common protocol) with a
wrong solution (xml).

O8 said in many occasions that he is an affirmative action beneficiary. No
doubt if there weren't AA, he wouldn't make it to Harvard Law and there
wouldn't be Pres O8.
Our point (AAAAA) is that the race-based AA is wrong and harmful,
counterproductive. What makes sense is the socioeconomic based AA. Under the
current race-based AA, O8's two daughters would enjoy race based

It wouldn't limit free agent movement. If a player really can't get a
contract on the market without substantial decrease in salary, then the
auction wouldn't attract any bidder. So it has no effect on the outcome.
If a player signed a contract at the market rate, then the substantially
lower clause wouldn't be in effect, and other teams didn't pull the trigger
when they had a chance to sign him wouldn't likely to bid on him again.
