今天我终于用了最后一招让我导师回信了，他果然立刻就回了，看来我对他还是了如指
掌的。我跟他说这个paper的deadline就要到了，如果他还不回复我就assume他是同意
我投了，因为他之前确实同意的，我还说这个paper对我来说其实没什么用，所以他同
意或者不同意都没有关系。结果他着急了，立刻回复说建议我不要投了，别的什么也没
说。然后我说没问题，但是比较curious他改变主意的原因，因为他以前是同意投的。
我还说如果他不想说原因就算了，反正我也不在乎这篇paper。最后我把列他作为
reference的事也告诉他了，别的也没说什么。后来他又不回信了，肯定是没有什么正
当的原因来解释他为什么不让我投。。。
这样的导师真是小心眼到了可笑的地步，像个3岁小孩一样。

my advisor if I could, because he is very interested in talking to my
advisor.
In this situation, what should I do? I think my advisor must be angry with
me and does not want to speak anything good of me, but he also doesn't want
to ruin me by speaking bad of me to that PI, so in this dilemma, he chose to
escape.

只要是你为你老板工作期间做的任何工作都属于你老板，不要以为他没给你指导就是所
谓的‘你独立的工作’。
你说的几件事上，你的态度和立场都有问题。
好好反省你自己的错误，然后给你老板打个电话和解吧。

发帖数: 844 | 9 还有，只要你还在学术界，你基本上就会一直需要你老板的帮助。不是说没有他支持完
全不行，但是很多事情就会难很多。为你自己好，姿态放低点，对老板更尊重些，搞好

about this, that's why I did not think I was wrong.
If what you said is true, then my advisor will never forgive me :( He
couldn't imagine that I was so ignorant (i.e., I did not kwow all my work
belonged to him). He must have thought that I intentionally disrecpect him,
but actually I WAS that ignorant...
Anyway, that paper has been submitted already, so no matter how I apologize,
it will not make it up for him. Maybe if he knows that I lose this job
opportunity because of his reference, he will feel better.

这种情况下，他怎么给你说好话？想让他撒谎吗？归根结底，是你没处理好。如果你没
得到这个工作，在blame你老板之前，多反省一下自己，否则就算去了industry,也不会
好过。实话说，老板对你不满只好躲着要reference的人，感觉很厚道了。
毕业的时候，自己的project上自己知道远比老板多是很普遍的现象，大家多少都会ego
膨胀，比以前arrogant。你老板带过的学生多的话，这样的情况碰到的应该也不少。放
低姿态，好好跟他聊聊，让他能感觉的你已经改正自己的态度了，多少还是会有些帮助
的。

, how forgiving he is, how sincere you are, etc...
What I suggested is what I would do if I got myself into this situation. As
an outsider, this is all I can say.

照样喜欢你，给你各种机会。如果没缘分， 你怎么小心伺候老板也没用。如果老板就
