偶始终记着老板教的面试经验：要让雇方觉得offer不给你是他们的损失，而不是你觉
得损失如果拿不到offer。
on-site完了就尽人事了，下面就是听天命；就算是特别向往的dream school，也要
hold住哈。不光要技术强大，心理更要强大。

面完直接完全不搭理大概才会有你说的这个效果。
而且我怀疑，比如你本来排第一的，结果因为你发信问了进展，就把你排到后面去了。

发帖数: 247 | 14 发感谢信是个礼节问题。如果你非常强大，不发也不会因此不给你Offer。 但是现在的
Market， Candidates也都差不多，为什么要因为Thank-you notes把自己的Priority降
低呢。
Academia就像找朋友，太容易的不珍惜。所以你发信就说明容易Recruit你，那你后面
谈判就不利。如果你本来排第一的，也不会因为你发信问了进展，就把你排到后面去了。
但是如果你有新的paper被Highlight， 新的奖，可以Update给Committee Chair。侧面
表达一下仍然感兴趣。

该hold就hold，该出手时就要出手。Faculty们都是人精，空洞的follow up只能显得自己很无趣。
