result. I think a convincing way is to tell more about what kind of
proposals you plan to write (story, why it fits your background, why it has
a good chance, where to submit, how do you plan to do it). This shows that
with your postdoc experience you are ready to write your own proposals. You
can start thinking about it now and discuss with your boss if you trust him
enough.

proposals is link a roadmap, in line with your previous training background
or achievements.
