IEEE Fellow， ASME Fellow这样推荐人够不够分量？
知名杂志的editor或者associate editor够不够分量？
知名大学的department chair这样的够不够分量？
大公司的director这样的够分量不？
以上举的例子中哪些个算是比较够分量写推荐信的？还是都不够strong？

顶多认识个fellow，editor， department chair 什么的。
另外，大家都是怎么找的independent reference阿。这是最头疼的。

I am not sure about "IEEE Fellow， ASME Fellow"(I am not familar with those
associations, I assume those professionals must have other titles that will
count). the rest three will be fine, but be sure to get a good letter from
them. what the reference says about you is much more important than who he
is.
for independent reference, send your target an email, introduce yourself,
the purpose of the email(ask for reference), you may wanna explain a lit |

level NIU, 1-2 xiao Niu.
