citizenship? I don't seem to know of such rules.
If you mean the 485 finger-printing, then after your 485 is approved, you
can only apply for the citizenship after 5 years. Well, from finger-printing
to 485 approval, it also takes multiple months.

naturalization indeed.
I don't know the timing though. One of my colleagues recently got his
citizenship, and he said that it was pretty fast, perhaps just a couple of
months from the application. He took the oath on the day he did the
interview. There were lots of people and there was no seat for them for a
couple of hours. So be prepared for that. :-)

You can file N400 later, as long as you STILL meet all the requirements.

postpone it. Although you don't know when the next appointment is for sure,
you can still gauge the date when you become a citizen somehow.

坏处是回中国你要签证了，而且如果要海归，某些中国政府基金无法获得，然后你要两
国交税。
