1. I just found that Dr. A is one of the co-authors in some publications of
my current postdoc mentor, Dr. B, before I joined Dr. B's lab in 2011.
However, I don’t have any publications co-authored with Dr. A. And I don't
have personal or intuitional affiliations with Dr. A. He comes to know me
by hearing my conference poster presentation in 2012. Do you think if Dr. A
could be defined as an independent recommender for my EB-1A application?
2. Does the independent recommender must either cite my work or use my work
in his/her own research? Can I define someone who haven't cited or used my
work in their own research as independent recommender?
