Fluency with C#/.NET
Up to three years’ of full-time experience writing software
code;
Creativity and resourcefulness; pragmatic, problem-solving
orientation;
Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment;
Interest in acquiring or advancing:
o Fluency with C# and .NET; o Fluency with Silverlight; o Fluency
with SQL; o Advanced Excel skills;
o Basic competency in statistics; o Knowledge of quantitative concepts
related to investment analysis; and o Basic knowledge of the hedge-fund
industry.
Experience with XAML will be considered a strong positive.
Job Description
The Associate will work closely with the Managing Director in charge of
information infrastructure as well as with members of the Investment
Committee to evolve the data collection, storage, analysis, and interface
systems that support the firm’s investing activities.
Primary responsibility will initially be coding;
Secondary responsibilities will include participation in: o
Gathering user requirements; o Designing user interfaces; o
Architecting systems;
o Training and supporting users; o Troubleshooting systems. |
