sale will take much longer time to obtain lien holder's approval, but REO's
does not. some REO properties may need repairing and could be hard to get a
loan.

发帖数: 187 | 3 Short sale and Foreclosure are similar.
in S/S, technically owner is still on title. but sale requires bank/lender
approval. if there's more than 1, may take a long time or even get rejected
at the end.
in Forclosure (REO), ownership has reverted back to lender/bank. you're
dealing directly w/ bank. nothing in between. sale could close much faster.
