Alberta or Quebec, but I have to feed my
family first.

If you hate cold but love winter sports, Vancouver might be the best choice in Canada. (Well, then you'll have
to deal with rainy days there.)

Clara Moore of the Ottawa Lions runs with one shoe Saturday during the
junior women's race at the national cross-country championships in Guelph.
Moore's shoe came off in a collision in the first hundred metres of the five
-kilometre race. Someone found the shoe, which had Moore's timing chip
attached, and took the shoe to the timing tent. A race official was given
instructions to watch for the shoeless runner and when Moore came to the
finish, the official swept the shoe across the timing mat so that Moore's
race time was recorded.
