，想请教大家都该做些什么常规维护？
1。stucco上有一些小裂缝，找了个contractor说应该十年的时候就要paint整个stucco
了，不知自己是否可以DIY？修裂缝，是不是用caulking的东西涂一下就可以了？（在
youtube上看到的）
2。需要seal窗户和墙的接缝处吗？
3。有些地方有锈（不如heater 下面的接水盘），有什么法子可以去掉吗？
４。hardwood floor上有一些scratch/dent，也不喜欢现在的颜色，如何能改变呢？
５。termite inspection是没有问题，大家一般膈多久再找人查一次？
６。空调／heater／热水器什么的大家都多久／怎么样维护呀？

near windows, etc will be taken care. Make sure the paint contractor
provides: power cleaning, 1 or 2 coat of paint (newest idea is 1 coat of
external paint is OK), include all the patching of stucco and cracks (done
right after power wash).
2) Hire a roof person to make sure no leak in the roof. Most roof life is
15-25 years, but high temperature accelerates the aging of the roof. If you
have tile roof, check for cracks.
3) hardwood floor can be refinished and paint new colors, usually $2-3/sq
ft.
4) Water heater needs to be drained. Read the instruction or Google per
your model.
5) Air conditioner needs to be cleaned every year. Ducts needs to be
inspected and cleaned. |
