can still live comfortablly for 25 years. but the legal costs are way higher
than life sentence.
3 strikes are similar. Nice to have but too expensive to do.
Both meassures can save some money in the long run.

first they use all kinds of bs reasons to raise the cost of a death penalty,
they throw you a prop: look, it's time to stop the death penalty.
it's not fair for the family of the victims either.

多了 没有实际意义。 而且加州这种liberal洲 我不期望有天会象德州那样提速死刑的

law manipulated like this.
but the analytic side says that there is not much left to be saved. it's
already manipulated. it takes millions per execution. and even so, they have
only executed 11 people in the last 27 years. there is really not much left
to fight here.

frogs or something like that. They need justice as well.
To most people who can't afford such a luxury, the remote chance of justice
isn't worth more than a beer, a cigarette, a piece of chocolate or a movie.
