我在这里住了十几年，非常舒适，学区好，生活方便，完全搬不开。

you live there. It's much more likely that your house will be gone
together with your land in the event of earthquake.

are all the same, the only difference is whether it is natrual landfill or
man-made landfill. In a big earth quake, they are all the same.

w/ earthquake? I've seen sand boiling and lateral spreading in earthquake,
but nth is gone. Also do u know Kansai airport in Osaka and Hong Kong new
airport are completely built on landfill!?

If they are damaged, the government is responsible to cover the repair cost
. Your house is your property. Nobody will look after you if the house is
damaged in an earthquake.

这个我真没觉得...每次101,92都是很顺利上去啊，而且是湾区中心地带，去哪里都方
便。到是去旁边的redwood shores时觉得出入很麻烦。

买保险就ok了。上次地震Foster City 一点事情没有，SF是一塌糊涂。不过真有大地震
，哪里都躲不开。

of safety against the capacity, other than that same for both residential
and infrastructure. But considering the self weight of one and two story
timber structure, liquefaction is not as big as a problem ppl think. when
the big one hits, foster city has the same chance as every part of Bay Area.
