confirmed for b1/2 visa holders and green card holders.
one tip: if you feel 75 cents per min on-board internet access is too
expensive, there is a free AP at the terminal of Nassau. you can get online
free of charge, the name of the AP is " Festival place". Plz use with
caution as it has no security protection at all. |

But did you get on board after/before Sep 6, when they posted that they'd
recently changed the visa policy?
would you mind sharing a little more on when and where the checkpoints would
be for passports?
I did some homework and seemed to me that the only checkpoint for passports
is where we depart (in our case it will be NYC). Is that correct?
Thanks a lot for your information in advance. am really shaking about
whether we can get on the boat at all without a bahamas visa after they've
posted the late notification on Sep 6. |

till now.
The only passport check point is at the departure terminal by the cruise
staff.

您是9月6日前上船的所以无所谓
很怕明天上不了船啊
一旦上船了像您说的在Nassau可以只凭船卡上下船就没签证什么事了

只是从那里过一下，但是回船上时，却有两个人在那里检查船卡和美国方面的证件。另
外船到了美国，移民官上船来查。 |

我几个同学今年春假时候买的一个2day （实际就是一个晚上的）cruise 从FLL港口出
发去freeport，刚才google了一下 应该是bahama的地方
结果在港口被拦住了。
他们去之前也电话过了，船公司跟使馆都说中国公民需要visa；同时也查过跟问过去过
的巴哈马的人，说没有查过visa。于是就杀过去港口，结果被拦住了，说了半天，也没
让上船。
是一家小公司的，那阵子groupon活动，大概很便宜吧。
几个人都是F1。

是啊，回头我问一下看是哪家公司的
那几个孩子郁闷的不行，钱也白交了没办法要回来，因为确实是自己的失误造成的。

我似乎隐约记得是一个非常小的公司，可能就一条船的样子，到处寄垃圾邮件说您中奖
了，可以免费或者非常便宜坐cruise什么的，然后收人家的押金。结果他们去了以后人家就找这个接
口就不让他们上去，他们也没有办法。
不过我还是把原帖改了吧，比较严谨些

他们几个还是从groupon miami买的票 估计老美去也都没事 老中就恶心了 那个港口也
是比较恶心 不过话说回来 也算是照章办事 没的说
