asians" rhetoric is racist. You don't look at asians as individuals but
always pit one asian against other asians instead of students from all
groups.
You can say what quality you are looking for among asian applicants. If some
asian students lack originality, say they lack originality. If some asian
students are shy, say they are not bold enough. But to say "asians are all
the same" and just look for the different few is just bolstering stereotypes
, which I think neither latinos or blacks would allow. |
