目的只是给要效仿爱总的水泥工程的各位提个醒，否则不均匀沉降让你感到美中不足。
去除草皮之后，一般需要铲掉２个INCH左右的TOPSOIL。
１）不要让任何有机物存在，
２）为场地整平做准备。
看照片中的BASE基本是粘土, 如果确定不是，问题就不大了。粘土是引起很多工程问题
的起因，遇上水就更麻烦，诱发沉降失稳坍塌等等。
不均匀沉降似乎是爱总这个小工程不久要出现的，发生快得话，下几场大雨之后原本平
整的水泥块就初显高低不平了, 长则一年半载，也有可能. 当然各人的容忍程度是不一
样的.
为避免发生，在一开始的时候应该参照IBC／IRC等规范的SLAB ON GRADE来处理施工场
地, 用AASHTO就太专业了
１）把地表的２INCH粘土置换为砂土（SP，SW，或者SM）
２）用HAND－OPERATED COMPACTOR （VPG １６０B等）来夯实，当然工程中也可以用
BOBCAT。
[注意：我的讲法不适合所有场地，不构成任何专业建议］
然后再象爱总做的，铺上一层GEO－TEXTILE，然后再做下来。不想租COMPACTOR也没问

1.我们桥梁设计所用的AASHTO LRFD就是 F. Moses， T. Galumbos 等在学校里拍脑袋的
结果，如果你不懂LRFD，在bridge/strcutural positions 内找工作会很难的。

3. 什么是肢体语言，就是语言说不清楚的时候，用身体的全方位伸展来表达自己的想法

4。我所指的点子是对大多数人都有用的经验，例如如何写resume等。我就觉得cymms的感

I would like to add just one more point here.
Unless you don't care to give them up, for AASHTO, only loading and seismic
parts are not enough. They will ask questions regarding concrete and steel
design and detailing also. Something you can not get from ACI and AISC. That
is my personal experience. |

enough for structural discipline. there is another book for it by the same
author(maybe only an olde version is available).
additionally, you need to have a lot of codes(steel, concrete, wood,AASHTO
bridge design LRFD,IBC, UBC etc.) so, I would suggest you take other
discipline for your afternoon exam. |

认真准备2个月，每天至少两小时，周末4小时，做大量习题，应该没问题。
重点放在本专业上，就是下午的提上，上午的结构，geotech,hydrauics
相对简单。下午考了交通，reference要带齐，我带了AASHTO,HCM,和其他
教科书，但是却了MTUCD(traffic code,不知道缩略有没有写错)，
roadside design code....
seismic 上hiner的课，做题就没问题，
survey做那个mahallati的题，也没问题。
做题指的是至少大部分题认真做一边，考前在做/看一边。
觉得有用的，都拿包子来吧。 |

318, referred to? You can find some of them refer to very recent
publications. Also, when you do some engineering design, like bridge seismic
design, it would be very beneficial if you read some paper about modeling.,
especially the national seismic code is undergoing a singificant changes
nowadays. My focus is stuctural engineering field. My opinon may not
application to other areas.

分别作用在土和桩承台上，考虑桩土接触，然后设置挖土工序为分析步，挖到5米，提
取桩的最大剪力和弯矩以及位移，对比PHC桩的最大承载力。三维模型，可以考虑用壳
单元模拟PHC桩，扩充一下，是一片很好的硕士论文。
这种问题，二维的分析，一个晚上就可以完成非线性模拟，国内研究生资源这么丰富，要好好利用，有助于专家们分析。
看到专家组结论，“土方在短时间内快速堆积，产生了3000吨左右的侧向力。。。从设
计角度来说，建筑物通常不依靠桩基来抵抗水平推力。”

surcharge load 对30米外的桩基能产生3000吨左右的侧向力？我估算了一下，假设10
米高的土作用在挡土墙上，假设挡土墙60多米长，差不多3000吨左右的侧向力，难道3000
吨就这么算出来的？AASHTO等规范都有计算堆载产生的侧向力的简化公式，距离楼房30
米开外的侧向力能按挡土墙模型算吗？
