I am not sure about the dress code of my new company. Is it ok for me to

其实拿的offer比我理想的要差很多,但也没有办法,被layoff,压力大,要马上找到
工作,而且必须是local的。当然这个工作虽然钱少,但却不会很忙。单程30miles,还
算可以。
其实一直都在找工作,但有工作的时候,不积极,只是每天看看有没有职位出来,一般
只投特别符合的,结果我这个冷门专业,一年半载也没个好职位出来。即使有职位出来
,投的人多,你又没有工业界经验,人家凭什么给你offer。
直到去年12月,老板说我得合同年底到期,就不续了,当时我也没有很惊讶,因为老板
平时一直处我,非常不爽。但总觉得在学校里,他应该至少提前二个月告诉我吧,我有
个心理准备。
接着就是每天学习怎样找工作,LD也告诉我,要主动联系人,积极找工作,只靠投那些
贴出来的职位是不行的。我想建议大家的是 多用linkedin,非常好。

Microsoft first year, Mid-Year check in, review comments appear positive but
am told the likely yearly rate is "3" and it is based on a group
calibration ( 9 Devs, 1 "1",
1 "2", 4 "3", etc...).
What about this Microsoft calibration business? I was sort of hoping get a
"2" for the first year. Is the rate usually increasing or decreasing? Any
pattern about this, or anything worth fighting for? I know the manager
wants to keep me in the group.

I am a little upset about my LD's most recent decision about leaving his
current job and joining the new company... It is the end of the year and
with the two holidays around the corner, I suggested him to tell his manager
the last day of work sometime the mid-Dec or ideally the end of the year.
Then he can tell the manager to do the job shifting the first weeks and take
the rest of the time for vacation. I just spoke with him on the phone and
he told me that he informed his manage of his resign

I read some reviews on CNET. It seems Samsung and LG all have some viewing
angle problems and also Samsung seems to have shinny screen. So, decide to
still go with Sony.
It seems Sony VE5 46" is good and the current price is about $1.3K. I'll
wait to see if it can drop to about $1K around Thanksgiving. Then I'll go
for it. Hoho!

We found one SFH. It was listed as 214,6000$, and yesterday it was listed as
a foreclosure. I have no idea about foreclosure houses. Its price right now
is 176,000.
Could any body give me some suggestions about this house? Do I have to pay
by cash? If I have to, how much do I have to pay after closing? Thanks so

Any comments appreciated.
Built in 1986, nicely upgraded, new kitchen, new roof, new finished basement
, new carpet, new painting... with ~0.8 acre lot.
Listed on market for 2 years, started at $500k, too much overpriced. Now
dropped to $389K.
The town is highly rated and very secure in general. All the 3 schools are
rated 10 and about 1 mile away across the main road.
My concern is the mobile home community about half mile away. will that be a
big potential safety issue? Thanks.

Paying a grand total of $190 in taxes and fees for our flights to Europe got

呵呵,现在每次撸deal,开mo,充serve,出门左转都给门口的救世军/童军啥的捐个一刀。
昨天去walmart充3k gobank,用丝带破的300 vgc,要四个回合,拖得有点久,得半个小
时充完。中间的等候期没事干,去蹲坑donut里买了杯frozen coleta mocha,顺便问小
二门口的救世军大爷一般喝咖啡,白妞眨巴几下大眼睛,说他们一般喜欢hot coco, 天
太冷。我说好吧,来杯。用amex的DD丢儿刷了perk,出门左转,问救世军使劲摇铃的老
大爷,you must be very cold, how about a hot coco?老大爷迟疑了一下,收下了,
顺便给那红桶里放了一刀。
接着看了一下timer,正好10分钟,赶快右转进walmart继续刷卡充钱。
最后顺手捻了罐佳得乐给儿子训练时补充电解质。

I recently found out I am pregnant. My whole family is so happy about it.
However,my co-worker sitting next me just discovered she has some kind of
rash caused by "varicella-zoster" virus. It rarely happens to adults. Most of
the children have it, called chickenpox (shui 3 dou 4).
Even though I am pretty sure that I had chickenpox (shui 3 dou 4)in the
childhood, still worry whether my baby will get infected.

Sorry can't type Chinese on this computer...
My son is at a public school Kindergarten. The teacher said he is lack of
social skill to make friends, but he does want to be part of the group
activity, so he end up sometimes hitting others, etc. to get attention. The
teacher proposed to have him attend school counselor class, once a week, 4
kids per class. Currently they have 2 classes for Kindergartener in that
school, one for girls class and one for boys class.

chinese government is printing money like a hell, once the hot money safely
retreats from china, us governmennt will ask china's yuan to exchange freely
with dollar, that will shoot the rate to 10:1 or even 20:1. yuan is not
worthy it, you can tell from the grocery price.

so parents apply together will be a little better.
they will not check any about that. and they just ask:

2. to US see who? child, xxxx reason, no about baby born

Canon HF-M300 - The same as M31 except M300 doesn't have internal memory.
Price is around $370. 32GB SDHC card only costs about $50.
Panasonic SD60 - same sensor size as M300 (1/4 inch). bigger zoom lens (32X
vs. 15X of M300). Price might be lower than Canon M300. I've saw it on sale
for about $340.
Sony CX150 doesn't have optical stabilization as I remember, which is the
biggest downside for me.
