对这个传记有人是由微词的。我把amazon上一个评价copy如下。
写这个评价的作者是个飞行时间超过2500小时，同时有200小时作战时间的老鸟。大家
看看作为参考吧。我就不翻译了，主要意见是Boyd也不是每个论点都对。F14作为拦截
机而不是狗斗机，并不是Boyd所批评的“失败工程”。F111作为轰炸机（+攻击机+侦察
机）也不该因为狗斗不行而被批评。Boyd没有注意到雷达，制导这些技术进步带来的空
战变化。等等，以及其他种种吐槽。

带劲，就是去玩了点f-22的飞行没看全，f-22的动作实在太惊人了。看了下今年有点没
劲，f-22 raptor只有地面展示没表演，估计是同一天去Langley AFB的Airpower Over
Hampton Roads赶场去了。飞行表演觉得还是thunderbirds比blue angels好看，blue
angels的虫子太慢了，就是那个叫fat albert的c-130比较Q。hmmmm，有点想去hompton
va看Airpower Over Hampton Roads或者DC andrews AFB看DOD Joint Service Open
House了，有人有兴趣同去吗？ |

At a hearing of the U.S.- China Economic and Security Review Commission in
Washington, Lee Fuell, a director at the U.s. Air Force’s National Air and
Space Intelligence Center, said the PLAAF will be strained “to project
airpower in a sustained fashion” during a conflict in South China Sea.
It will be strained to maintain presence there due to a lack of aerial
refueling aircraft and C4ISR support.

●29日是一年一度的國殤日(Memorial Day)，紐約皇后區「小頸—道格拉斯頓國殤日遊
行」(Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade)，聲稱全紐約國殤日遊行規模最
大，將於29日(周一)國殤日當天下午2時，從北方大道(Northern Blvd.)與傑森大道(
Jayson Ave.)交口開始，一路行至北方大道交Alameda大道的天主學校Divine Wisdom
Catholic Academy結束，全長1.5哩，向保家衛國的軍人致敬。
今年除了紀念小頸—道格拉斯頓國殤日遊行邁入第90周年，也紀念美國加入第一次世界
大戰100周年。另外並邀請美國空軍駐紮尤斯提斯聯合空軍基地(Joint Base Langley-
Eustis)的樂隊「The Blue Aces」，在遊行結束後現場表演，該樂隊曾多次被派往西南
