yes, just go across the boarder into Mexico. You can buy every drug without
prescription. you'd better read some clinical guidelines before you determine
which antibiotics to buy for your wife's sore throat.
In general, you need culture the bateria from her throat, and do sensitivity
test with different antibiotics to see which one works. If you use the wrong
drug, she would might develop antibiotics resistence and would never be
treated again for future bacteria.

Local antibiotics kill bacteria that cause plague building up and help the reattachment of gum tissue to your teeth. One may not need antibiotics to reverse the progression of periodontal disease after deep cleaning if proper dental hygiene, including flossing and brushing, is maintained. If you want to take the chance, you can choose to deny the antibiotics. |

Thursday night, my daughter (2-yr old) starts fever over 102F.
Friday morning, we went to see the doctor, since there is no symptoms found
(lung clear, ear good, no runny nose, etc); The doc did not do anything.
Saturday morning, the fever continues, on Ibuprofen/Acetaminophen, the temp
is still 102 F.

transfection的时候才antibiotic-free。

宝宝低烧三天,退烧后,满身起了红疹子,带去看医生,医生说耳朵有炎症,二话没说就开
了十天的抗生素,这是我第二个宝宝,大宝一岁前比二宝病的频繁,但是每次去看同样的
医生总是说回去吃泰诺喝水之类,这次二宝只是第二次病,就这么凶,我不禁检讨自己,是
不是对二宝太不上心,要是大宝可能发烧的当天就去看医生,也不会发展成这样.
请问有一岁以内(我的二宝十个月)用过antibiotic的宝爸宝妈,这个对infant真像有的
网站说的那么不好么(可以引起哮喘之类),我是不是太后妈了.

抗得过病菌. 但最近喉咙痛得实在不行, 医生给开了 antibiotics (Azithromycin),
说是孕妇可吃的药, 但药剂师说任何药对胎儿都有 risk, 如果非吃不可谁也不能保证
不会对宝宝有不良影响.
想请问前人经验特别是在孕期不得不吃 antibiotic 的美妈们, 宝宝生下来之後都健康
吗? 谢谢! |

without any confirmation
she still has to give antibiotics
then what is the meaning for those 1.5 more days of suffering?
what is the difference btw her practice and the Chinese docs?
I know, the Chinese doc can help the patient heal faster by giving them
antibiotics earlier. |

很fussy,不喝水也不喝奶，怎么哄都哭，嗓子比前两天更哑，一天不如一天。鼻涕流得
更厉害，是mocus的那种。被宝宝这样哭闹吓坏了，赶快去ped那里，结果是右边耳朵的
infection没有好，左边也感染了，说明这两天吃的抗生素－－阿莫西林不管用，给换
了cefprozil （cephalosporin antibiotic).
从周三去看儿医，就觉得不对劲，孩子的嗓子也是周三早上开始哑的，之前的咳嗽有明
显好转，但是看了儿医吃了阿莫西林，嗓子越来越哑，并且开始发低烧，咳嗽没有恶化
，还是继续好转。 现在看来，是周三周四吃的阿莫西林不管用，细菌导致的ear
infection恶化了，嗓子估计也是这个细菌搞的，而咳嗽是本来的virus感冒所致，已经
一个多星期了，跟细菌没关系，自然时间久了也就越来越轻了。
多亏今天早上没继续给孩子吃tylnol，要不然孩子不狂哭，我们都不知道阿莫西林不管
用，再耽误下去就不好了。 |

后胃口马上变得奇差。几乎吃不下任何东西，然后狂吐，吐了好多次，一塌糊涂。今天
大清早开始狂拉肚子。然后也吃不下任何东西，最后洗澡前我给喂了点奶，洗完澡后又
全吐了。 该怎么办了，这个药还有9天的量啊，要是继续这样不吃不喝还狂拉的话，不
拖水才怪阿。 大家有什么办法啊？ |

发帖数: 68 | 28 从昨天到现在一直发烧，最高102F。 早上去看了OB， 因为没有其它感冒症状，就是头疼，右胸疼，关节疼，诊断为小孩吃奶时把嘴上的细菌传染给妈妈。OB让吃10天的 DICLOXACILLIN 500MG，如果还发烧就继续吃泰诺。OB说可以继续喂奶。
妈妈不幸发高烧，看来要吃antibiotics, 这样的情况，妈妈痊愈后，宝宝多久才能再
吃胸喂？好在一直存有冻奶，目前只好让宝宝吃冻奶。 |

查细菌还
在，所以让吃更强的抗生素。问题是3年前怀老大的时候吃过同样的，住院了4天因
为引起很严重的diarrhea,而且还有宫缩。当时也是大概32，33周。医生还说如果宫
缩引起开指，就要把宝宝提前取出来。当时把我和老公吓坏了。还好没有那么严重，
住了4天医院就好了，元气大伤。
这次又让吃，剂量小了一些，上次835毫克/tablet，这次500。 可是心理还是很不安阿
。大
家觉得应该怎么办阿？
下周约了医生想问问有没有别的option. 如果不吃的话，会有什么坏的结果呢？谢谢了。 |

wait until the 2nd or 3rd day of fever (of course not severe) to see the doc.
my 2 experiences taught me this:
#1 fever at night, wen to ER, nothing seen, attributed to "virus"
then after 3 days, fever continues, go to ped, then saw throat swollen, and
then antibiotics.
#2 this time. we went the ped the 2nd day before symptoms develop, so they
don't do anyting. |

我们这里的儿医非常保守，老二老咳嗽，去看，都是先从各种
过敏药吃起，观察一个礼拜不管用，换inhaler，再观察，还不管用，
才给吃antibiotic，前后折腾了一个来月，一吃抗生素就好了。
还有，抗生素不一定对这个work，得换一种。 要不再去看儿医一次？ |
