1。 RESIDENT点APPETIZER， 你也点，如果人直接进入ENTREE， 你别点APPETIZER。
APPETIZER一般可以SHARE 一下，基本是“FINGER FOOD”， 不需要动刀叉的。
2。 ENTREE
你去不是吃饭的，点一些简单的，GRILL CHICKEN， FISH，都行，我不建议点STEAK，
上来后，你肯定想吃，注意力会被JUICY STEAK 分散掉。
3。 DISERT
一般都点， 随大溜。
忌讳：
1。切忌点菜犹豫，MENU看来看去， WAITER 到你这， 基本就要告诉要什么了， 不要
让别人等。
2。不要专注吃饭。事前吃点东西，记住自己是去干吗的， 所以外表放松，内心上好旋。
3。 别点汤，沙拉，吃起来西西拉拉得，有要咀嚼半天。

reminds me of a favorite place we used to go while at school. 50%off all
appetizers and drinks. 2-3 of us ordered maybe 7-8 appetizers (smoked
salmon, crab cake, steak bites, scallops etc.) and actually pretty

结果afu玩得开心得过了头，受了伤。当时就约了医生，几小

不能久等。点了菜后，15分钟，还没上来。我们心里烦，也许
就在不停的看表。没想到，waiter上来，跟我们说，对不起，
让你们久等了，我们经理送你们个appetizer，现在正在rush
你们的order。-_-!我们也没找他们抱怨阿。一分钟后，东西
都上来。我们哗哗哗吃完，结帐，结果帐单上除了白送了个
appetizer外，还另外给了20%discount，:)我们就多给了些
tip，把那个appetizer的钱额外放上了。那天本来特别沮丧的，
这一下感觉好多了。

受到花花大侠的撞车指南的启发，我觉得写个餐馆指南，尤其现在每天面临失业的压力
，不知道还能在休斯顿呆多久，我就先攒点人品，造福群众。以后大家来休斯顿，也可
以多点选择，不必总是去中国城吃饭。相信中国城地区的餐厅大家都知道，这里我就不
赘述了，只说其他国家地区和风味的。我只说 authentic & exotic 的餐厅。厨师一定
要是那个国家的，服务员说着带有那个国家口音的英语，最好连帮你停车的小哥哥都是
那个国家来的。每个餐厅的具体地点大家自己去 Google ，我也不慢慢打了。
先做背景介绍。 Houston ，休斯顿 是美国第 4 大城市（前三名依次为纽约，洛杉矶
，芝加哥）。火箭城位于 Harris County 中心，也是 Houston–Sugar Land–Baytown
组成的大都会地区的经济中心。这是美国第 6 大的大都会地区，总计人口约为 6 百
万。由于石油工业和航运工业，休斯顿地区的人口组成非常多样化，各个国家的移民和

的。所以周五别的地方都要排队的，如果你没定位，就去Morton's，进去就有座。
Morton's给私人藏酒，就是你买酒，它给你弄个小柜子，上面写你的名字，我们这样没
钱的进门就瞻仰崇拜一下，我们有个女partner有个小柜子，每次带我们去吃饭都很牛
的说，把我的酒拿上来。我土，我最喜欢的其实是Morton餐前的香葱面包，据说这面包
要每天早上5点开始做，中午才来得及拿出来，我每次都吃半个，皮最香。appetizer最
爱Tuna Tartar，现在我自己也会做了，呵呵，主菜当然是牛排，NY Stripe一个人合适
，T-bone和Porterhouse就要考虑两个人share，我经常点的是not so big fillet，小
小一块，不撑着，价钱也便宜。甜点最有名的是lava cake，配ice cream，要点就要进
去时候就点，要做一个钟头的，一勺下去，里面巧克力就流出来，确实是好味道。另外

1. Maggiano's Litty Italy，这是我和老公每周都去报到的餐馆，地理位置好，在
Tysons Galleria里面，逛完去，去完逛都可以。意大利菜，family friendly，菜好，
里面的服务更好，让人真的每次去都特高兴，我婚宴都是摆那里的来着。Maggiano的菜
是除了entry，什么都好吃，appetizer最好，很多海鲜，比如caramari，crab cakes（
一般饭店这个都是entry，它是appetizer，两个lump crab cakes，价格是12.95，超值
），steamed mussel，stuffed mushroom，都是我们常点的，Maggiano的特色是pasta
，有家常和特色两类，家常的那些它常年有点一个，送一个回家吃的promotion，也就
是12.95给你两份，最好吃的有mom's lasagna 和Taylor Street Baked Ziti。

根据cruisecritic的打分和网友们的推荐，Ruby Princess算是Princess里面比较好的
一艘的了。上个星期刚回来，总体感觉还不错。不知道是不是被大家说的期望太高了的
缘故，吃的方面觉得比较decent,不过没有我想象的那么好（大家不要拍我，我本来以
为可以吃到类似peter lugus这个级别的牛排的，后面发现好一点的还是要去付费餐馆
吃。不过LD觉得一般的餐馆吃的也很好了，他觉得比纽约不少店都强）
我们一上船就报了chef's table.据说很难排上，因为7天的船就搞两次，每次10个人，
反正俺排上了也不知道是运气还是报的人少。这个经历还是很推荐的，俺不是没有大吃
大喝过，不过很少这么穷凶极恶的奢侈吃喝。放几张照片看看好了。
头台之一鱼子酱。你看边上那哥们的眼神。
头台之二tartar beef 做的很好，完全没有腥味，也没有特异用太多香料去掩盖肉的味道。Maitre D给端茶倒水，很给面子:)
