top MFE, 没有PhD,tier one IB。虽然只是第一年Associate/AVP desk quant,工作上
表现很好，基本独挡一面。
结果今年奖金非常少，total comp才175K。 觉得underpaid了，被告知奖金的时候也直
接跟老板说了，非常不满意，认为total comp至少应该多三四万。老板不置可否，表示
无奈。但是表示我今年应当total有190K。我自己的预期是200-220K。
心里非常堵，倒不是完全在乎几万块钱。想知道大家认为underpaid有多严重？考虑到
今年普遍bonus不多的情况下这个价钱是否公平？请勿人参公鸡。谢谢。 |

但是用stack有一个问题：那样1-2-3就是2而不是-4了。
这里减号是left associative的。
因为+,-,x,/都是left associative的，只有^不是，这种
不一致是我最初问这个问题的原因。当然如果是数学家定的
规则，我也没什么可说的。 |

accounting 学起来不算太难，associate degree找的工作一般不许要太多写作技巧当

degree，6个term共94个学分。好处是学费便宜，可以online上课，可能2年左右就能上
完去找工作（大妈奔四了）。平时照顾小朋友也方便。
大概单边车程40多分钟的州立大学有bachelor degree的课，上4年，学费比较贵（社区
大学100多一个学分，州立大学300多一个学分），但是接送孩子就要早出晚归了。我是
倾向于上社区大学，但是不知道这两种学位出来找工作有多大区别？
我以前的背景是火坑专业，不想再回，和会计完全没关系，就是自己感觉数学还行，带
娃几年没上班，想换个好找工作的职业。所以不了解，以后的工作发展是主要靠自己考
各种certificate还是学校的好坏文凭很重要？麻烦有经验的JM们指点下。
我这个小城虽然没啥学校人也不多，但是州政府所在地，所以在州政府相关部门工作是
我的考虑之一。

那个大牛（印度人）是个department chair,手下有几个research assistant
professor，这个位置是其中一个research assistant professor （也是印度人）实验
室的
我提前20分钟到了 然后那个大牛提前10分钟到了
于是面试提前开始
坐下来后问我一些有关我在美国读的硕士的信息 比如做什么方向的和看了一下我正在

然后就开始说他们实验室的研究内容
之后那个research assistant professor 也到了 这个大牛就开始和那个research
assistant professor 说我有solid background master，有很多文章等等（本人5篇文
章，2篇第一作者）并且对他们的研究很有兴趣等等
然后就offer我那个position 了 问我什么时候可以开始上班 我说就这几天 他说那刚
好那个前任reseasrch associate还没走（他说那个人要去读medical school) 还可以

可以先积累些经验。
还有，找大学里的technician, research associate之类行不？会不会over qualify?
都要小本小硕啥的。
个人对职位无挑剔，就想找个活干着。但是不想博后了，比起学校，prefer industry.
找了几个，有被拒的，搞得现在不知道怎么给自己定位。没有正儿八经找过industry的
