slumping.

vehicle sales. The seasonally adjusted rate of motor vehicle sales decreased
to 17 million from 17.88 million in July. Both car and truck sales were
down for the month. The seasonally adjusted annual rate of sales for cars
was 6.78 million, down from 7.09 million in July. The SAAR for trucks was 10

August, as orders and sales cooled.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia's general economic index dropped to

the latest evidence of a steady recovery in housing.
The Standard & Poor's/Case Shiller index reports that national home prices
increased 2 percent in August compared with the same month a year ago. That'

And prices in hard-hit Las Vegas rose 0.9 percent, the first year-over-year

Booked a package in the last week of August.
Will state in Las Vegas the whole time but like to visit the near National
parks.
1) Is it possible to make one day trip to Zion/Bryce, and Death valley? Have
been GC/Arizona couple years ago so GC is not the priority.
