公司的attorney现在同意办了,可是他认为citation 达到50篇,才会有把握.现在的感觉
是即使让公司的attiorney办,他可能也不会有什么passion.感觉象是硬塞给他的一个任
务 :)
一方面想improve backgroud, 另一方面想要不然自己DIY算了,或者再外边找一个律师. |

发表的文章所带来的一切impact也不能算作contribution了,对吗？
按照april mm的说法，在递材料前，under review的paper也不能claim成authorship,
我的理解对吗？
我记得版上有人批了以后，写自己backgroud的时候，有人有些过，他们有submitted
paper.这个是为什么呢？ |

没有PP，RFE交了快3个月，今天早上终于等来了悲剧的消息，奇怪的是昨晚居然梦

背景比较弱，在NSC。1作英文5篇(其中2篇还凑合的10分文章)，剩下一些拿不出手
的2作和中文文章。在中国和美国都有几个专利，但似乎人家不太认这个？文章都很新
（两篇好点的都是今年发的），引用比较少，大概四五十个吧，用google搜的。有学校
，法国的一个媒体和中国的媒体对本人的专访，剩下的就是一些网站的转载，都有名字
和头像。推荐信大部分是找院士写的，看来没太大用。review很少，只有3次，大概提
了一下。
claim了Contribution，Authorship和媒体报道。RFE估计officer没怎么看，没
claim的东西也全提了问题。具体悲剧的原因大概本周就会收到书面通知，到时候再
update。

还有，刚入公司的时候（一年前），跟公司的律师讨论过，律师建议不申，现在能否再
次向雇主提出
要求申请EB1b？就是自己申，不通过公司的律师，但需要公司的approve吧？
我的case：
paper：~15, half journal & half conference
review: 1 (just got my phd. need more reviews...)
citation: around 60 (第三作者的paper的citation也算吧？）
没啥奖或媒体报道....纯粹就是想试试 （因为专业是做能源的，可能是个利好？）

你领导那个协会的奖的就不要 claim 了，放在contribution 里做证明。可以自己做，
但需要公司 签字。

USCIS办事确实很烂，EB1的485有的2个月就批，有的pending了快1年都还没有处理的。
我不相信这完全是因为backgroud check的原因。还有，就是因为USCIS在2007年犯错放

其实上周就收到了email，而且查询状态也是approved。从收到receipt notice到
approved，总共一周。在本版获益太多，无以回报，唯有将自己的经历奉上，以供后人
参考。
先说说大伙都关心的backgroud的吧，不算强的case。
中国的Ph.D. in Biochemistry，美国还可以的大学博后2年多，现在一家公司做
research scientist.
Journal publication: 10, first authored: 2.
Citation: 73 (total), 61 (independent).
Review: 15 times for over 10 journals.
6 recommendation letters, 4 of them are independent.
claim了老三样：contribution, publication, judge of others' work.

notice, acceptance的email还说RFE的话会fax notice给律师
但律师那里没收到fax的 RFE notice, 还在想会不会是忘了fax或者是发错了号码，今
天忽然变成了initial review, 又说pp clock停止， 还有一段说明 During this step
